Yeah, it’s been a while. I’m sorry. 🙂 After about almost two months off, I’m bringing back the Wednesday night recaps.

Anyway, tonight started out with our favorite thing…chat time. After that, we moved into worship, including a few new songs tonight. Those songs were “Whom Shall I Fear (God of Angel Armies)” by Chris Tomlin, “Cornerstone” by Hillsong, “10,000 Reasons” by Matt Redman, and “How Great Is Our God” by Hillsong London. Following worship, Anna prayed and we moved on.

After worship, we spent some time talking about life and all that’s been going on. During this time, Anna shared a little bit about their foreign exchange student who is staying with them for the month of January. Following that, we moved into tonight’s announcements. See the end of the post for that info.

Once announcements were finished, Anna began tonight’s mini message by recapping the series we’re currently working through. We then moved onto tonight’s message talking about Leah. The scriptures for tonight can be found in Genesis 28-29. Anna talked about Leah wasn’t actually ugly (even though our poster seems to say she is) but she is described as having soft eyes. We also talked about Jacob wanted to marry Leah’s beautiful sister Rachel, but was tricked into marrying Leah because she was the older daughter and had to be married first. It’s quite an interesting story, and we encourage you to take some time to read it on your own this week.

That’ll do it for tonight.
