That’s right, 87% of people haven’t heard the Gospel. We’ll talk about that more later in this post. Anyway, tonight started out with our chat time, followed by two video clips. The first one, found here, was called “The Pastor’s Rap” and talked about inviting people to church for “Back to Church Sunday” on Sunday, September 15th (which is the day of our church picnic).

The second video was a promo for See You At the Pole, which is coming up on Wednesday, September 25th. You’ll have to check with your school, but it typically starts half an hour before school starts at the flagpole. Here is that video.

After the video, we talked a little bit about See You At the Pole, and the verse that this year’s theme is based on, which is 2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

After that discussion, we moved onto tonight’s main event, which was watching the Friday morning message from Jonathan Shuttlesworth at this year’s youth convention. That message dealt with being used by God and how we are all called to share the Gospel. After the message, Anna talked about a few of the key points and then prayed to end the night.

Since most of you are back in school, how has the first few days been?
